Bonjour! We are holidaying in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence for a family wedding mid-June. We are traveling with our six year old and four year old for the event. The evening of 19 June, 2026 is a pre-wedding, adults-only event which will require childcare. The children are energetic and playful, and are excited to meet new people. They enjoy simple games, building toys, and films. They speak English and Italian. We are seeking childcare at the residence we are renting for the few days we will be in town. Due to the time of the event, the children will need assistance with dinner, washing up, and bed time. I am nervous to hire a nanny in another country, mainly for emergency medical reasons should they arise. I am hoping to connect with a childcare provider who has the confidence to help in an emergency until professional medical services arrive. The children do not have any conditions that make them susceptible to any medical emergencies, it’s more that I will be far away for the evening and want to know that their care provider can help them in an emergency.
